Alperen Sengun Says He’s ‘Excited’ To Play With New Rockets Player

Everyone is excited for Kevin Durant to join the Houston Rockets, including many players in the lineup.

Houston big man Alperen Sengun recently spoke about how jazzed he is to play with the NBA legend.

“I’m excited to play with Durant. Everyone is excited to play with him. It doesn’t matter his age — ultimately, he’s Kevin Durant. I have no doubt he will bring a lot to the team,” Sengun told Anadolu Ajansi, via SleeperRockets.

Sengun isn’t the only one who thinks Durant is going to be a game-changer.

Clearly, the Rockets expect big things from Durant, and they believe he will instantly improve their shooting percentages.

Beyond that, they think that his postseason experience and his two championships will give Houston a major boost.

The Rockets were one of the greatest teams in the West, but they faced a lot of problems when they reached the playoffs.

The hope is that Durant will assist with that part of the season because he has been to the playoffs so many times.

The expectations are high for Durant, but will it all pay off?

He has helped out numerous other teams throughout his career, but each has also faced tough times.

When he came to the Brooklyn Nets, they were instantly seen as favorites in their conference.

The same thing was true when he headed to the Phoenix Suns.

As all NBA fans know, it didn’t work out that way.

So while Sengun and his teammates are elated to have Durant suit up with them, he also knows that it won’t automatically solve all of their problems.
